How to choose the right outdoor flagpole and flag for your application

A few pointers to help you in choosing the right flagpole and flag for your application:


  1. As a general rule, flag length should be 1/4 to 1/3 height of pole.
  2. When more than one flag is to be flown on a single pole, choose a larger pole.
  3. Top flag should be no larger than is recommended in chart.
  4. The second flag should be one size smaller than top flag.
  5. The proper capacity of a pole must be appropriate to your geographic region taking into consideration your regions' wind velocity:

Important:

Flagpoles selected should be capable of supporting the largest flag intended to be flown in the highest wind speed to which it will be subjected
