Do you know the difference between a flag and a banner?

Flags usually have a canvas heading and brass grommets on the left side. Flags are usually flown on a flagpole, or at a 45° angle from the side of a structure.

Banners have a pole sleeve/hem on the top. The flag slips over the pole. Banners are displayed at a 90° angle.
